An incid£nt occurred in Obaganya, Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State, as 31-year-old Echeno Adakole was arrested for allegedly beheading his 50-year-old stepmother, Titi Enokela, in what is suspected to be a ritual killing.

According to reports, Adakole trailed the woman to her farm, decapitated her, and wrapped the severed head in her clothes before placing it in a nylon bag. When she didn’t return home, family members searched and found her headless body hidden on the farm. The suspect, who was found acting suspiciously, was caught with the head and nearly lynched by an angry mob.
