The founder of Omega World Global Ministries, identified as Pastor Enoch, has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife (Name Unknown) in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital. First News on Tuesday learnt that the pastor allegedly buried his wife in a shallow grave in Ikot Abia community, Okon Clan, Eket Local Government Area. This was disclosed in photos shared by a Facebook group known as Akwa Ibom Entertainment on Tuesday. Sources reveal that a witch doctor had urged the pastor to sacrifice his wife in order to gain spiritual powers and enhance the growth of his ministry. When apprehended, Enoch led a group of security operatives to the shallow grave where he bûried his wife. As of the time of filing this report, the pastor was handed over to the Nigerian Police for further investigation. All efforts by the First News correspondent to contact the Akwa Ibom State Police Public Relations Officer, Timfon John, proved abortive.
